Agnieszka Glowacka, MaCantab Dip ARB - Director
Born in 1976, Agnieszka studied architecture at Cambridge University and The Bartlett, UCL. Whilst at UCL, her work was nominated for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal and she was awarded the Sir Bannister Fletcher Medal for the highest grade at Diploma. She was published in Building Design’s class of 2002, identifying that year’s top architectural graduates in the UK.
After Diploma, she worked for Buschow Henley, an award winning design-lead practice, for two and a half years. At Buschow Henley, Agnieszka worked on a number of very different projects ranging from designing bespoke display cabinets for manufacturers of audiovisual equipment, to several large PFI healthcare buildings. She met Eleanor Rennie whilst working for Buschow Henley, and set up Glowacka Rennie to take forward their competition-winning project – East Reef.
Agnieszka has been involved with teaching at The Bartlett since leaving in 2002, initially as guest critic to Diploma Unit 17, and more recently as BSc Unit Tutor.
Eleanor Rennie, BArch Dip ARB - Director
Born in 1976, Eleanor studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art. She continued her studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where her work was nominated for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal. She also won the RIBA Serjeant Award and was awarded the Sir Bannister Fletcher Medal for the highest grade at Diploma. She was published in Building Design’s class of 2000, identifying that year’s top architectural graduates in the UK, and a year later in Young Blood, edited by Neil Spiller.
After Diploma, she worked for Buschow Henley, an award winning design-lead practice, for four years. At Buschow Henley, Eleanor worked on a number of very different projects ranging from housing to hotels, and was project architect for an apartment on Kings Road, Chelsea and a new-build private house for an art collector in London. She met Agnieszka Glowacka whilst working for Buschow Henley, and set up Glowacka Rennie to take forward their competition-winning project – East Reef.
Eleanor has been involved at The Bartlett since leaving in 2000 as guest critic to Diploma Unit 17.
